Role Summary:
OmniaBio Inc. is looking for a passionate and results-driven Marketing Specialist with strong experience working in the biopharmaceutical and/or biotechnology CDMO industry. The marketing specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic marketing tactics, focusing on conferences and events management and logistics, as well as assisting with campaign execution and client experience initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the planning and execution of all virtual and in-person conferences and events, including managing the event calendar, bookings, logistics, project timelines and creation of materials, ensuring alignment with the commercial strategy.
- Manages vendor relationships for conference and event services, marketing materials, and other conference-related needs, ensuring high-quality support and cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinates the preparation of event materials and organization, including identification of strategy and messaging, material creation and delivery and speaking and poster engagements.
- Identifies and evaluates event opportunities, presenting prioritized options to leadership that align with commercial strategy and are within the event budget.
- Maintains a comprehensive understanding of all company services.
- Supports the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including generation of brochures, presentations, and digital content, promoting cell and gene therapy CDMO services.
- Gathers, tracks, analyzes and reports on event performance for each conference and event, providing insights and actionable recommendations for future improvements based on metrics and feedback.
- Collaborates with the commercial team to enhance the client experience and corporate reputation, including facilitating client visits and deploying and analyzing surveys to enhance the client experience at each touchpoint across the client journey.
- Assists with other marketing and administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the marketing team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in event planning, marketing, or a related role, including experience managing large tradeshow engagements, preferably within the biopharmaceutical and/or biotech CDMO industry.
- Track record of successfully managing events from concept to execution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management tools (e.g., Smartsheet) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and familiarity with digital marketing tools (marketing automation platforms, social media).
- Strong organizational and project management skills with experience in budgeting, timelines, and vendor coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Understanding of event logistics, including AV requirements, catering, venue contracts, and travel arrangements.
- Knowledge of marketing metrics and analytics to measure event success/ROI (lead generation, opportunity creation).
- Ability to travel occasionally.
