JOB SUMMARY:
The Rental Manager will drive the growth and development of Ohio CAT's rental services business. As Ohio CAT continues to expand its rental operations, we will encounter various challenges that require different types of support. This role involves identifying opportunities to improve operations and maximize profitability while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. To be effective, the Rental Store Manager must embrace and facilitate change. The Rental Store Manager must understand the following objectives and accountabilities. This role requires on-site work at the office.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
- Three years of Rental Branch Management or business management experience is required.
- In-depth knowledge of construction equipment, as well as the rental industry is required.
COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- A good understanding of financial principles and P&L accounting is needed for the position.
- The ideal candidate is customer-oriented and can provide excellent customer service.
- Has a high energy level with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Has strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
