JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

The Electric Power Sales Manager must work with other Division Managers to ensure achievement of departmental, divisional and corporate objectives. Provide leadership and management of the Electric Power Sales Team developing annual business plans and creating strategies and actions to achieve sales objectives. Responsible for department personnel, sales, profits and expense control monitoring key performance metrics and identifying opportunities for process improvement and margin optimization. Develop and maintain positive relationships with Caterpillar and other key manufacturer’s personnel to gain their support and to ensure our objectives align to insure our success. Responsible for the administration of company policies and procedures. Work to position Ohio CAT Power Systems as an asset to markets we serve as well as the communities in which we operate.

P&L Experience - Candidate must have experience managing a P&L statement displaying strength growing revenue and managing expenses that will result in a strong financial return.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors Science / Bachelors Art Degree required. Ten years electric power industry experience.

Minimum of two years sales management experience. Excellent interpersonal skills, Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to travel throughout the Ohio CAT territory on a weekly basis as well as attend Caterpillar or industry meetings and events as needed. Knowledge and experience with the dealer/manufacturer relationship.

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
