Step into the fastest-growing segment of Caterpillar’s business—Electric Power Generation. As a Technician Development Academy Electric Power Generation Intern Trainee, you’ll work with Caterpillar generators that are powering the world!

Program Highlights:
- Eight-month program combining instructor-led classroom, lab, and shop experience.
- Program alternates weekly between one of our Ohio Cat training facilities (Cleveland or Columbus) and your home shop.

What You’ll Do:
- Learn to service and maintain Caterpillar generators and engines.
- Develop expertise in electrical systems and generator operation.
- Collaborate with industry leaders and serve vital customers.
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Interest in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Motivated to join a fast-paced, high-growth industry.

Physical Requirements:
- Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling
- Standing/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines
- Dexterity Normal
- Repetitive Motions: Frequent movements requiring the use of hands, wrists, and fingers.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
