Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday
Job Summary:
The Hydraulics Service Technician must measure disassembled components, primarily hydraulic cylinders, comparing them against the original manufacturer's specifications and recommend proper repairs and remanufacturing procedures.
Job Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Five years’ experience in the analysis of hydraulic cylinder failures and recommendation of repairs, previous experience with the repair of hydraulic components.
- Must be an experienced technician with a strong attention to detail.
- Must understand and be able to work with close tolerances.
- The ability to read hydraulic schematics would be helpful.
- Must have previous experience with the repair of hydraulic components.
- Must be a self-starter and work well on their own. This position would require the ability to speak with customers and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measures disassembled components, primarily hydraulic cylinders.
- Compares disassembled components against the original manufacturer's specifications.
- Recommends proper repairs and remanufacturing procedures.
- Completes work in the pump shop.
- Completes work as a machinist at times.
- Completes write-ups and line boring or welding.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lifting/Carrying 40 lbs. Lift/Carry and 50lb pull
- Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers.
- Dexterity Normal
- Frequent standing/sitting up and down stairs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
