OCMI, Inc. is growing and seeking a full-time dynamic, success driven Senior Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will provide highly responsive program and project management services in one of the firm’s core business lines. The Senior Project Manager duties include, but not limited to:
  • Manage pre-bid and pre-construction meetings
  • Review plans and specification for project knowledge and constructability.
  • Review and maintain project control records, as-built, RFI’s, submittals and files.
  • Prepares project budget, maintains cost control information, identifies cost impacts, and provides recommendations for cost control.
  • Assist with client satisfaction program.
  • Manage project scheduling options and senior scheduler.
  • Maximize avoidance of delays, changes, and claims with proactive management
  • Participate in all project safety meetings.
  • Manage contracting / procurement options by analyzing all contracting delivery methods per the public code.
  • Actively involved in professional and community organizations
  • Assist in business development and proposal preparation.
  • Manages a collaborative project environment for the best outcome of the project.
  • Assists owner in the procurement of design professional and consultant services and administers contracts.
  • Manages, directs, leads and is accountable for all phases of the project.
  • Ensures preparation and distribution of construction observation reports, progress status reports, schedules, pay applications and cost control reports.
  • Oversees orderly project closeout efforts, organization of project documentations and coordination of warranty work.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of combined 10 years of Construction Manager, Project Manager and/or Superintendent experience.
  • Prior experience in data centers highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction Management, M/E/P Engineering, or other relevant field.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage challenging, multi-faceted projects.
  • Well versed in all construction industry delivery methods.
  • Advance proficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as well as Bluebeam & other industry standard software.
  • Ability to successfully pass a thorough criminal background check.
