Description: Must analyze customer sales trends and feedback to maximize win percentage on myopic opportunities and the next 1-2 years of broader opportunities and market trends. The Inside Sales Manager also monitors inside sales processes for compliance, gaps, bottlenecks, and is continually making improvements.
Qualifications:
5-7 years sales management experience.
Four-year college degree is required. 
• Prior experience in industrial sales and/or the valve and automation industry is highly preferred.
• Solid experience and success with the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue objectives. 
 Responsibilities:
• Analyzes sales data and trends on a regular basis, providing reports and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with outside sales, marketing, and product managers to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and coach inside sales representatives in customer service practices, product. knowledge, sales processes, and sales tactics.
• Identify and address knowledge gaps, training issues, or needed process improvements within the team.
• Evaluate, qualify and assign new customer leads.
• Approve special pricing on a case-by-case basis, submits to upper management when necessary.
• Oversee all quoting and inside sales activities.
• Ensure effective communication with scheduling, manufacturing and engineering departments to maximize order accuracy.

• Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings and resources.
• Research and advocate customer needs and identify how our solutions address them.
• Hire, train, motivate, lead and advise team of sales representatives.
• Analyze sales trends and develop regional or product-based sales revenue budgets.
• Develop team members’ skills to increase quote win percentage and achieve revenue objectives.
• Maximize the customer sales experience, by emphasizing responsiveness, accuracy, and personal relationships.
• Establish and nurture long term customer relationships.
