Managed Services Engineer (Hybrid - Lenexa, KS)
Description
As a Managed Services Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing client IT environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft cloud and on-premises technologies. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor for clients, providing proactive management, troubleshooting, and implementing best practices for infrastructure performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote and on-site support for client environments, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and Server/Desktop infrastructures.
- Administer and maintain Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams environments.
- Perform regular health checks, monitoring, and patch management across servers, networks, and endpoints.
- Assist with Azure infrastructure services, including virtual machines, networking, identity management, and security configurations.
- Act as Level 1 and Level 2 support, resolving complex system and network issues.
- Support client onboarding, including the environment assessments, documentation, and initial configurations.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to implement system upgrades, migrations, and new solutions.
- Provide recommendations for improving client environments, including performance, security, and scalability enhancements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, procedures, and client environments.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
