Description
You will instill best practices in software testing such as quality gates, test coverage, test management and tracking, and maintain a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Your role will also involve close collaboration with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals and user needs. This position requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using an open-source testing framework for both UI and API test automation.
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
- Perform thorough testing of software applications, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX designers to understand and clarify requirements, ensuring test coverage and quality standards are met.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements based on testing results and user feedback.
