Role Description:

The Specialty Care team is seeking a Senior Director to help drive overall strategic planning and execution around Specialty for the enterprise. One key aspect of this role will be acting as the liaison between Oak Street Health and RubiconMD (an eConsult platform and wholly owned subsidiary of Oak Street Health) to achieve broader enterprise goals. This role will report to the Vice President, Specialty Care & RubiconMD lead at Oak Street Health, and will work closely alongside the Head of RubiconMD Operations. This role reports up through the Healthcare Delivery organization at CVS Health.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support overall strategic planning for enterprise-level Specialty Care

  • Drive new idea generation for Specialty Care delivery, focused on but not limited to specialist engagement models in value-based care (across Oak Street and RubiconMD)

  • Pilot and execute against new specialist engagement models that will deliver value for Oak Street and RubiconMD

  • Develop and manage an eConsult growth strategy, working in tandem with Oak Street and RubiconMD leaders

  • Deliver against said eConsult growth strategy, through collaboration with RubiconMD and Oak Street operational leads

  • Identify synergies and opportunities for improvement in the Oak Street and RubiconMD collaboration; craft and implement improved collaboration models

  • Other duties as assigned

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a leader who can own strategy and operations in a multi stakeholder environment. The candidate should be adept at leveraging data to drive decision-making and collaborating seamlessly with multiple stakeholders to drive results.

  • 8+ years experience in strategy / business operations / management consulting roles, with a track record of success

  • Clinical experience (including MD/DO looking for non-clinical role) a plus

  • Critical thinker who is intellectually curious

  • Self-starter who is comfortable driving work independently

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels

  • Strong MS Excel skills

  • Unimpeachable integrity

  • US work authorization
