The Senior Associate, Population Health reports to the Director of Population Health. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, enjoys solving challenging problems, uses data to drive insights, and excels in a fast-paced environment. This will be a high-visibility role requiring significant cross-team collaboration within Population Health and other corporate teams (e.g., Technology, Product, Care Services, Clinical Quality, Managed Care Operations, etc.).
Core Responsibilities
Leverage data analytics and strategic thinking to identify key insights and trends to drive high-impact initiatives across clinical documentation
Develop and maintain extensive weekly reporting with focus on risk adjustment analytics, driving insights and action items to improve performance
Provide analytical support across clinical documentation compliance and related functions (audit needs, CDS program, care model tools, payer data)
Support onboarding for CMS model and care report for providers, scribes and other care team roles
Stay current on latest developments with the CMS model and new ICD-10 codes to drive innovation and improvement to existing tools
Develop materials and lead discussions with relevant organizational leaders
Other duties, as determined by direct manager
What are we looking for?
3+ years of consulting or other applicable experience in healthcare / population health
Expertise in CMS HCC model and risk adjustment
Strong accountability and discipline against timelines and deliverables
Analytical and data savvy; highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
Champions a collaborative working style, able to partner cross-functionally
Effective communicator, able to communicate effectively across different audiences and stakeholders
Ability to develop business cases, ROI analysis, and financial analysis
Passion for excellence, willing to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and ensure consistently high-quality work product
Possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Quick learner comfortable with a high level of ambiguity
Ability to succinctly summarize and synthesize large amounts of information
Bachelorâs degree required
US work authorization
