Role Description:
This is a Vendor Management Technology leadership role and will have accountability for creating a world class vendor management program for OSH. The Director, Vendor Management Technology will manage new and existing vendor relationships. This leader will support business, program, and technology owners in the vendor selection process, negotiate with vendors to secure best pricing and services, and establish vendor management frameworks to ensure delivery against expectations. This position will report to the SVP of technology delivery and will work with key leaders across technology for strategic vendor management work.
The Director will be responsible for early engagement during the contracting stage to understand expectations of the contract and ensure vendors are clear about how to measure and manage performance. This role will work with business partners to ensure clear SLAs, milestones, and other mechanisms to measure against expected ROI for both new and current vendor relationships. Managing within total cost of ownership will be critical along with the timely delivery against projects throughout the lifetime of each vendor relationship as well as regularly sharing key performance updates on these vendors with internal stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop overall vendor strategy for Technology
Establish and maintain strategic performance based relationships with vendors and internal partners at all levels
Manage specific contract elements and relationships of large vendor engagements
Establish a cadence of vendor performance reviews, i.e., daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews with the right business partners at Oak Street Health while also leveraging senior vendor partners
Build and maintain an internal vendor performance dashboard with OSH program owners
Oversee annual contract renewals and participate in new program negotiations directly with vendors
Identify areas of opportunity with internal partners to develop and implement strategies to address them
Analyze and use data to cross pollinate idealism, make recommendations and elevate quality of performance for Oak Street Health overall
Ensure partners are meeting Key Performance Indicators
Coordinate and monitor masterwork plans, milestones, and deliverables
Proactively identify risk and elevate issues that may require executive intervention
Collaborate with vendors to identify key dependencies at Oak Street Health and organize internal teams to support the programs
Collaborate with technology teams to achieve seamless integration of data flows between Oak Street Health and the vendor’s technology environment
Serve as the point of contact for relationship-level issue escalations between vendor and Oak Street Health
Assess changes in the business environment and evaluate impacts to the partnership
Monitor the vendor’s compliance to SLA framework and drive year over year improvements to the SLAs

What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA, Engineering or Business degree will be preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor and BPO management
Demonstrated consultative skills – questioning, negotiating, listening
Demonstrated ability to work on cross-functional teams in a matrix environment to deliver on common goals
Strong analytical, project management, business reporting, and problem solving skills with ability to come to conclusions and make clear concise recommendations based on findings
Highly proficient in Excel, Google Tools, SQL, etc. experience is a plus
Effectively translate a high-level strategy into actionable targets and taking an active role in execution
Strong executive communication skills, both written and verbal
