Position Summary:
The Oracle ETL Developer reports directly to the Vice President, Enterprise Architecture. The role entails data analysis and use of ETL tools, primarily Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). This position also demands versatility, as the ideal candidate will be tasked with a diverse array of responsibilities beyond traditional ETL. They must possess strong programming skills for developing and maintaining reports, utilizing tools like Microsoft PowerBI, Oracle Data Visualizer and Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA), and also demonstrate proficiency in various database programming tasks such as SQL/PLSQL development and object-oriented programming.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate a proactive attitude towards technology adoption. With a strong emphasis on innovation, they should be eager to explore and implement emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and its potential effect on data queries and reporting. Salary Range: $120,000 to $130,000
Office Location: NYC/Financial District
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
· 5+ years of relevant work experience
· Experience working with ETL tools like Oracle Data Integrator
· Proficiency in report development using tools like PowerBI, OBIA, OBIEE, and data visualization.
· Strong SQL/PLSQL database programming skills.
· Strong Object-oriented programming skills.
· Sound knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases.
· Knack for data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Relevant IT certifications a plus.
· Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and Oracle Cloud.
· Experience with Oracle Financial ERP modules is preferred.
