Position Summary: |
The Coordinator of Foundation Relations is responsible for the effective planning and operations management of the New York Botanical Garden’s Foundation Relations program, and plays a supportive role in increasing leadership-level support from private foundation funders and government grantmakers. The Coordinator will maintain key relationships with donors and Garden staff (full-time and temporary), as well as support relationship management for the Foundation Relations team and Institutional Advancement department. This position reports to the Associate Vice President for Foundation Relations.
Partnership will be vital to this position’s success. As such, the Coordinator is expected to be a collaborative and strategic member of the Institutional Advancement department and the Foundation Relations team.

Additionally, this position supports, through actions and conduct, NYBG’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility initiatives and helps to build and maintain an inclusive organization culture throughout the institution.

Physical Demands & Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to, at minimum, work outdoors under a variety of weather conditions, and occasionally work under moderate or loud work conditions.

Baseline Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm
Benefits:
