About Us:
National Water Main Cleaning Company is a leader in the field of trenchless rehabilitation in the United States, and is part of the Carylon Corporation, which includes fourteen companies that provide various environmental maintenance services. National Water Main Cleaning Company specializes in municipal infrastructure inspection and rehabilitation. NWMCC-Florida inspection division consists of cleaning and televising the internal condition of sewer and drain lines for cities, towns, and engineering firms across the State of Florida. NWMCC-Florida rehabilitation division consists of concrete coating, epoxy coating, chemical grouting, storm/sanitary pipeline cleaning and inspection, trenchless point repairs, vacuum excavation, lateral line cleaning/ inspection and rehabilitation.
Position
The Project Manager for NWM is a highly visible position and the candidate must be comfortable working on different projects, interacting with clients and their representatives as well as communicating with upper management on project needs and issues.
Position: Project Manager
Location: Kearny, NJ
Pay: $75,000-$110,000/year (Based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the work on various contracts as assigned.
- Assists in the evaluation of progress and quality of contract activities in conformance with approved schedules and budgets.
- Set, observe, and re-evaluate project priorities frequently and manage the stress that comes along frequently changing priorities.
- Understand, organize, and accurately track every aspect of the job to have it run as smoothly as possible from a managerial standpoint.
- Communicate with people at all levels; be able to (Change to- communicate and coordinate project activities with Superintendents) on a day-to-day basis but also be able to understand and discuss big-picture topics with upper management.
- Provide accurate, detailed, and timely pay apps to the accounting department.
- Obtains Daily Reports from Inspectors/Contractors.
- Prepares documents, letters, report meeting minutes as required by upper management.
- Performs work in a safe manner and actively encourages others to comply with safety rules and regulations, including wearing of personal protective devices.
- ADDITIONAL- Make site visits, when possible or required, to meet with superintendents and customers to discuss project efficiency and support needs for field management.
Qualifications:
- Environmental Contract Compliance Knowledge is a plus.
- Effective oral and written skills for client communications as well as technical reporting and correspondence.
- 1-2 years of either underground construction or pipeline rehabilitation is required.
- Technical and contract knowledge in scheduling, estimating, contract administration, and cost control.
- Good working knowledge of computers.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company information.
- Must be able to physically access working areas of a construction project site.
- Must be able to travel to project sites as needed to perform essential duties.
- Must be able to travel to meet with management, clients, vendors, partners, or associations; or to attend conferences or training, as needed to perform essential duties.
- Travel may be required 25%-35% of the schedule.
Essential Equipment and Software:
- Office 365 suite.
- Arc GIS is a plus.
- PACP/MACP/LACP NASSCO certified is a plus.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management and or one (1) to two (2) years of experience in pipeline maintenance and rehabilitation projects. Have the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple assignments and tasks for numerous projects, and good verbal and written communication skills.
