Purpose: The Policy Facilitator & Contract Liaison will be responsible for guiding the overall development, review and approval processes for policies that apply to Nuvance Health entities in collaboration from the Policy Governance Manager. Through on-going collaboration with organizational leaders, administrators, and policy owners, the Policy Facilitator will support compliance with regulatory requirements by guiding the document control process and conducting systematic reviews to ensure policies meet Nuvance guidelines. This role will require flexibility and adaptability as Nuvance implements a universal policy management system across the enterprise. Additionally, as Clinical Contract Liaison to both Quality and Nursing Professional Development this position is responsible for ensuring that all contracts are up to date and requirements as determined by facility polices and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Provides support for hospital policy electronic and process related management needs including knowledge on managing the policy system, uploading and categorizing policies, and archiving policies.
2. Works with the Policy Governance Manager to ensure synonymous policy standardization across the system.
3. Ensures polices are updated within the specified time frame to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
4. General policy administrative responsibilities but may also require the focus on a specific area, such as nursing, finance, reporting or human resources in order to ensure policies are up-to-date.
5. Provides policy management support to the administrative, compliance, quality, nursing and hospital-wide employees.
6. Acts as a policy Content Administrator to “revise, edit, upload” any documents in manuals for the facilities that they are linked to.
7. Manages Clinical Contracts for the Quality Department including reviewing and monitoring contract start and expiration dates, Nuvance contract owners and updating when necessary, and sending alerts six months prior to expiration date.
8. Reviews contracts with Nuvance owners and queries if the contract is considered a clinical contract such as Team Health Emergency Department or NAPA anesthesia.
9. Ensures the Nuvance owner of the contract includes performance metrics within the contract and requests performance evaluation and provide to Director of Quality.
10. Manages Nursing Student Contracts for the Nursing Professional Development Department, to include renewal and new contracts, management of current affiliations and reports on numbers of nurses in programs.
11. Maintains and Model Nuvance Health Values.
12. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
13. Performs other duties as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting senior level executive in Healthcare setting.
· Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with contracts.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
· High-level of proficiency with advanced functions of MS Office software and policy management systems
· Ability to work independently, make autonomous decisions, organize, plan and prioritize work.
· Project management skills and confidentiality are essential.
· Must work well under pressure. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written skills.
