Summary:
Responsible for the Operating Room / Cystoscopy Suite / Endoscopy Suite preparation and housekeeping, medical waste disposal and patient assistance in collaboration with all other members of the health care team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Job Qualifications: Experience necessary
- Licensure: None required.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED.
- Experience: Hospital or surgical center experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS preferred at hire
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, their significant other(s), surgical center staff, physicians/surgeons, and other health care workers.
- Computer skills.
- Regular patient contact.
