Summary
The Pharmacy 340B program integrity analyst is responsible for maintenance, compliance, and operations of the 340B program at
assigned facility. Scope of supervision includes outpatient medications administered in eligible locations, mixed use locations
managed by a third-party split billing software, outpatient prescriptions fulfilled by a propriety pharmacy and outpatient
prescriptions fulfilled by a contracted 340B pharmacy. This position serves as the primary internal liaison to key stakeholders (i.e.,
finance, revenue cycle representatives, pharmacy leadership) to help maintain compliance and optimal utilization of our 340B
enrollment. The Pharmacy 340B program integrity analyst will evaluate the required documentation for all aspects of the program
as well as maximize benefit the program offers to the institution. The Pharmacy 340B program integrity analyst will be accountable
for advising staff accountable for purchasing, receiving and inventory management.
Responsibilities
● Manage/guide staff that are purchasing medications at respective eligible facilities
● Manage inventory of eligible purchases at covered entities
● Manage the 340B pharmacy benefit program to qualified outpatients and program clinicians
● Manage relationships, billing services, and compliance with contracted 340B pharmacies
● Manage education, training, awareness, and customer service for all 340B covered entities to staff and affected stakeholders
● Ensure that the 340B pharmacy program is consistently compliant with OPA 340B statutes and guidance
● Track, monitor, and report 340B pharmaceutical sales and purchases data to ensure provider/physician and patient eligibility
(self-audit and continuous surveillance). Works with corporate compliance for independent audits in preparation for HRSA audit.
● Develops, implements, and maintains 340B policy and procedure requirements, auditing and ensures full compliance and best
practices across the organization
●Manages third party administrator software and interfaces with Nuvance Health – this includes continuous comprehensive
maintenance required on a cadenced schedule and appropriate integration with distributor portal
●Any other duties deemed fit for position by management
Other Information
The Pharmacy 340B program integrity analyst will be accountable for advising staff accountable for purchasing, receiving and
inventory management.
• Associates Degree or 5 years job related experience in Pharmacy purchasing/contracting
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) required
•  340B Certification preferred (ACE to be completed at 1 year of hire)
On the job training will be provided for 340B compliance, guidelines, and policies.
