LCSW PRN Crisis Intervention
Summary:
Provides crisis intervention services at the hospital or in the community. Provides emergency psychiatric evaluations and treatment. Stabilizes patients for continued treatment and arranges for treatment as indicated. Lities.
Responsibilities:
- Provides crisis stabilization intervention to individual patients and/or their families or significant others either in the Crisis Intervention Service at Danbury Hospital or as part of the Mobile Outreach Service.
- Provides planning and implementation of the patient's disposition plan either in the Crisis Intervention Service at Danbury Hospital or as part of the Mobile Outreach Service.
- Supports Behavioral Health Service Line in providing and managing all patient care.
- Understands & maintains compliance to all regulatory agencies & the Danbury Hospital Code of Business Ethics.
Education Skills Experience:
- MASTER'S LVL DGRE
Required: Collaborate and assist LCSW staff in running and documenting groups for Intensive Outpatient level of care.
Minimum Experience: three years
Desired: LADC preferred. Three years experience, both inpatient and outpatient.
