Summary:

Reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CFO) of Nuvance Health. Provides a full range of complex administrative functions and support in order to maintain and improve operations of Nuvance Health. Serves as the primary contact on matters pertaining to the Revenue Cycle and Chief Revenue Officer. Works closely and effectively to keep them informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage calendar of appointments by assuming total responsibility for the organization of the Chief Revenue Officer and Managed Care.
  2. Maintain appropriate departmental records and establishes departmental filing systems to ensure the expeditious retrieval of information. Maintains organized files of all corporate documents.
  3. Evaluate and prioritize workflow and resolve issues within realm of authority.
  4. Screen and triage phone calls including patient related; draft correspondence, manage communications by prioritizing, routing as appropriate and ensuring follow up.
  5. Compose or draft reports, agenda and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner. .
  6. Coordinate travel arrangements as needed.
  7. Work closely and effectively with executives to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and follow up appropriately.
  8. Provide service excellence to physicians, patients, visitors and employees of Nuvance Health.
  9. Contributes to a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff by following established procedures and protocols.
  10. Fulfill all compliance responsibilities related to this position.
  11. Prepares, reviews and submits approved / executed documents for any third party vendors including navigating contract approval processes and invoice management.
  12. Maintain PTO calendar for designated employees. Kronos Administrator / Timekeeper.
    1. Record and track Revenue Cycle employees records in a timely manner. 
  13. Arrange and coordinate meetings for Revenue Cycle leadership as needed including staff meetings, internal and external services, educational trainings
    1.  Assist in preparation of presentation materials;
    2. Schedule and attend meetings, as requested, and keep minutes/notes;
    3.  Responsible for catering for meetings and audio-visual support;
  14. Maintain inventory of supplies and facilitate purchase requisitions for Revenue Cycle to meet operating and capital needs.
  15. Actively engage in continual process improvement and enhancement of internal controls for Revenue Cycle leadership.
  16. Assist with space allocation and management within defined work locations.

Education: ASSOCIATE'S LVL DGRE

Other Information:

Required: 

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Requires 5+ years experience supporting an Executive Leadership Role.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
