Summary:
Assist in the implementation and delivery of executive compensation programs and procedures for the healthcare system. Support Nuvance Health’s achievement of desired competitive position to market and supporting system goals and initiatives. Contribute to compensation programs to enhance Nuvance's ability to recruit, motivate and retain talented employees.
Responsibilities:
I. Core Functions
a. Assist in the implementation and administration of executive compensation programs and systems including merit, market and equity analyses across the healthcare system.
b. Participate in compensation surveys.
c. Participate in job description development and job evaluation processes.
d. Support the compensation team’s efforts to ensure internal equity, consistent application of policy, and external competitiveness through special projects and data collection.

a. Participate in Total Rewards team initiatives impacting associate compensation as needed.

IV. Compliance/Governance
a. Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding compensation.
b. Assist with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) exemption tests to ensure appropriate status.
c. Keep abreast of legislative changes and anticipate impact on hospital system. Provide recommendations to mitigate risk.

Other Information:
Functional/Technical Skills Requirements: Mid- level application of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Access, Word and Outlook. Emerging analytical, math and problem solving capabilities. Familiarity with HRIS systems (Lawson/Infor preferred). Solid verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
Education and Experience Requirements: Requires a minimum formal education of a bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent gained through a combination of education and work experience; and 2 to 4 years of progressive, related experience in the field. Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
License, Registration, or Certification Requirements:
Courses toward Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred. Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or other related field preferred.
