Revenue Cycle Analyst I
Description
Summary:
The Revenue Cycle Analyst I, with a high degree of autonomy, will organize and coordinate denial data collection and analysis in order to ensure departmental effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the daily operations of the department including, working effectively with multiple levels of staff to strategically problem solve, educate, and support the needs of the department.
- Runs and saves reports daily/weekly/monthly and sources them to the level II analyst for complex statistical reporting and modeling.
- Ability to utilize assigned Excel VBA macros and templates to complete allocated job tasks.
4.Meets the information, reporting, and analytic needs required to drive the departmental performance priorities.
5.Routinely analyze departmental workflows identifying opportunities, present findings and recommendations for new business strategies or operational processes and measure outcomes monitoring baseline improvements. [Process]
6.Proficiency in mathematics with the skill to translate complex mathematical information into understandable reports and mitigate contractual disputes and financial losses.
7.Establish and maintain appropriate compliant tracking and monitoring systems for contract management and audits.
8.Maintain high standards of data integrity and quality throughout the department's data collection-to-reporting pipeline; support in implementation of new methodology, tools, and processes. [Denial Data]
9.Applies high level problem-solving skills to perform root cause analysis on the AR reports and exercise sound judgment and experience to make recommendations for correcting underlying issues. [AR Data]

Other Information:
- Minimum of five (5) years data analytics in a fast-paced environment or relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
- Must be intermediate in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
·PREFER: Five years in patient accounting
