Summary: Responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of operational, clinical, and strategic initiatives across the Medical Oncology service line. Partners closely with physicians, nursing leadership, administration, and system stakeholders to drive standardization, operational excellence, and sustainable program growth across oncology services. Key areas of focus include: physician outreach and engagement, process improvement, system-wide standardization of medical oncology services, and strategic growth initiatives to expand access, capacity, and service offerings across the oncology continuum.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates and supports system-wide Medical Oncology programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and cancer service line strategy.
2. Serves as the central operational liaison for Medical Oncology initiatives, facilitating collaboration among physicians, nursing leadership, quality teams, administrative partners, and system stakeholders.
3. Develops, manages, and monitors program deliverables, timelines, metrics, and reporting to ensure timely execution of initiatives, business plans, and strategic projects.
4. Partners with Medical Oncology leadership to develop, implement, and sustain standardized workflows, clinical operations, and best practices across all sites.
5. Identifies operational gaps and opportunities and leads or supports process improvement initiatives in collaboration with quality and performance improvement teams.
6. Supports system-wide consistency in scheduling, navigation, referral management, patient flow, and care coordination processes.
7. Leads and coordinates physician outreach and engagement efforts with internal and external referring providers to enhance awareness of Medical Oncology services and capabilities.
8. Supports relationship-building with community physicians, referring practices, and internal stakeholders to strengthen referral pathways and interdisciplinary collaboration.
9. Coordinates physician-facing outreach activities, educational programs, and communications in collaboration with Marketing, leadership, and clinical partners.
10. Supports the development, expansion, and operational growth of Medical Oncology programs, including initiatives focused on access, capacity, service expansion, and volume growth.
11. Coordinates multidisciplinary collaboration across Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Navigation, and supportive care services to enhance program integration and patient experience.
12. Supports leadership and administrative functions, including strategic planning, preparation of agendas, presentations, reports, committee materials, and recruitment-related activities as needed.

Education Skills Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in healthcare practice management, program coordination, or service line operations.
- 3 - years of experience in program implementation, project management, or process improvement.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree (MPH, MHA, MA, or equivalent)
- Experience working in Oncology, Cancer Services, or a multidisciplinary clinical environment

Salary Range: $36.53 - $67.90 hourly (Pay based on years of relative experience)
