Summary: Works as an effective member of the perfusion service and provides for the safe performance and/or management of all duties associated with the job and for the population served based on the scope of services provided by the department.
- Bachelor’s Degree from institution recognized or accredited by the Board of Regents of the New York Education Department.
- Graduate of a Cardiovascular Perfusion program recognized and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and the Accreditation Committee for Perfusion Education (AC-PE).
- Three (3) years of perfusion experience.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Experience with perfusion related databases, preferably NYS DOH.
- Strong communication skills.
- Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) as recognized by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
- Licensed Perfusionist under Article 134 of the NYS Education Law.
