JOB SUMMARY: The Staff Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients referred to the Rehabilitation Department by qualified practitioners. This individual interacts with patients of all ages.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Graduate of a professional Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Licensure/Registration/Certification: Licensed and currently Registered in the State of New York.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience for Outpatient department, new graduates will be considered for the Inpatient Department.
Working Conditions:
Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
Occupational: Significant occupational risk
Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
