OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner Opportunity- PRN
Vassar Brothers Medical Center, part of Northwell/Nuvance Health, located just 75 minutes north of New York City, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our successful and growing OB/GYN group for per diem work. We are a collaborative OB-GYN team providing care to a diverse patient population that draws from multiple counties in the Hudson Valley. The ideal candidate will be a team player, have excellent communication skills, easily establish rapport and trust with patients and families, is committed to evidence-based care and practices, and values working with a diverse patient population. We are seeking a candidate that is reliable and adaptable and has a high level of clinical competence, compassion and empathy, commitment to patient education, cultural sensitivity, excellent interdisciplinary collaboration skills, and passion for lifelong learning and professional development.
We have practice offices located in Poughkeepsie, Fishkill and Highland and work alongside 7 board certified physicians.
Job Requirements:
- This position requires a minimum formal education or master’s degree, NP, State of NY RN and APRN license, NY Controlled Substances and Federal DEA Registration and Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner.
