The Opportunity

Nutanix is looking for an Senior Enterprise Account Manager to join our team in Germany to manage a mix of strategic and large enterprise accounts. As a Senior Enterprise Account Manager, you are responsible for selling Nutanix’s Solutions and Services directly to large Enterprise customers. You will also be working closely with a dedicated Presales Engineer.   

Essential to success in this role is the ability to manage strategic accounts, at the same time develop new business and new accounts within your assigned territory. Nutanix provides outstanding support and tools from Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development to enable you to exceed your sales performance.

About the Team

At Nutanix, you will be part of the Enterprise Sales Team in Germany, reporting to the Director Enterprise Sales, who will provide guidance and support as you navigate your role within the team.The team is composed of dedicated individuals who are passionate about driving success for our enterprise clients. With a focus on open communication, honesty, and collaboration, you can expect a supportive and inclusive team environment that values diverse perspectives and teamwork.

As part of the Enterprise Sales Team, you will travel to associated client meetings, conferences, and sales engagements. We encourage to meet with clients in various locations, allowing you to build relationships and drive business growth through face-to-face interactions. Your Role

  • Grow sales for Nutanix's entire portfolio within named enterprise accounts.
  • Expand existing customer deals and increase the company's footprint by identifying new opportunities.
  • Win new logos and acquire new customers, focusing on strategic growth within your territory.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and demonstrate how Nutanix solutions can address their challenges.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners.
  • Familiarize with the Nutanix portfolio, including unique selling points (USPs), licensing, and pricing components.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and drive sales initiatives forward.
  • Achieve established sales targets and contribute to the overall team objectives through individual performance.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven track record in sales, with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • Pronounced focus on customer success.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, particularly in the IT industry.
  • Experience in the infrastructure domain.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to engage meaningfully with customers.
  • Passion in aligning business needs with technology solutions.

Work Arrangement

This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, we try to get together on a regular basis, or there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

The work arrangement for this role will be discussed with the hiring manager.
