Principal Product Manager - SaaS Control Plane

Nutanix is looking for a Principal Product Manager with superior leadership, analytical, strategic, and mentorship skills to be part of our dynamic and growing team. As a Principal Product Manager, you will own the strategy and execution of building our SaaS control plane, to unify our Nutanix Hybrid Multicloud experience. The goals of this initiative are:

  • Deliver a single SaaS control plane to manage multiple Nutanix cloud deployments, either on-prem or on public cloud
  • Simplify onboarding and launch of our SaaS offerings like Nutanix Cloud Manager, Era and others

 

Responsibilities

  • Help define and execute strategy and roadmap for Nutanix SaaS control plane
  • Regular outreach and synthesis of customer feedback into prioritized requirements.
  • Write detailed market requirements and product requirement documents (PRDs)
  • Responsible for complete product delivery - Coordinate with cross functional teams 
  • Build and Drive Consensus / Clarity
  • Track, manage, and report on KPIs. Presents at QBR, Operations Review
  • Motivate and Influence, Evangelize, Provide customer advocacy and briefings 
  • Provide ongoing field support as needed to drive high customer satisfaction 
  • Author, build, and maintain compelling internal and external facing collateral 
  • Considered a thought leader in the field and well respected within the community
  • Mentors APMs/PMs and play an active role in hiring candidates

 

Job Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields. MBA is nice to have.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure services
  • Very Strong Domain Expertise in one or more areas
  • Experience with SaaS product development for enterprise customers
  • Experience with public cloud such as AWS or Azure is a strong plus
  • 5+ years of product management experience 
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate, build and launch successful products
  • Independently lead a Product line (a major area of a product offering)
  • Attention to detail in executing complex projects with cross-functional dependencies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to present to C-level executives.
  • Proven ability to influence geographically distributed teams and deliver on commitments
  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • High energy and excellent teamwork skills
  • Have a bias for action and demonstrate ownership
