About the Team
The Partner Technical Enablement team at Nutanix is a dynamic group dedicated to empowering partners with the technical knowledge and resources they need to succeed in delivering innovative solutions. Based in the United States, the team thrives in a remote work environment that fosters collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to excellence. The mission of the team is to develop and implement comprehensive training programs that enhance partner competencies in cloud technologies and technical sales engineering, ultimately contributing to the overall success of Nutanix and its partner ecosystem.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Revenue Enablement, who believes in a leadership style that emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and empowerment. This manager encourages team members to take initiative and lead projects while providing guidance and support when needed. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work hours, with no requirements for in-office presence unless attending sales events or partner meetings as needed.
This role requires approximately 40% travel, primarily for sales events (two major events per year) and periodic meetings with partners to ensure alignment and address their unique needs. This travel component is critical for building strong relationships and delivering hands-on support to partners in their technical enablement journey.
Your Role
- Develop and implement technical training programs for partners and internal technical staff.
- Create technical curriculum and content to enhance partner competencies in cloud technologies and business offerings.
- Lead enablement sessions and conferences, demonstrating technical offerings and addressing partner needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate feedback and improve training materials.
- Assess partner technical skills and identify training gaps to enhance certification processes.
- Facilitate ongoing learning and development initiatives using modern content creation tools.
- Establish a documentation and resource library to support partner enablement efforts.
- Achieve partner certification goals and drive competency alignment within the first year.
What You Will Bring
- Deep technical expertise in cloud technologies and the company's business.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, private and public cloud, and strong knowledge of virtualization technologies.
- Ability to create technical curricula and develop competency assessments for partners and internal teams.
- Experience working with various types of partners, including OEM, distribution, and reseller partners.
- Proficiency in content creation tools and e-learning material development.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technical features and tools.
- Experience in using generative AI for productivity enhancement.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical enablement or related role.
Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 132,800 and USD $ 199,200 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
