Enterprise Account Manager, Public Sector
Nutanix is hiring a new Public Sector Account Manager to be focused on local government, health, higher education, and policing in around 60 accounts located in the North of England. This account set does include some existing Nutanix customers but is primarily whitespace. There is also an existing pipeline associated with the territory and a strong level of channel partner engagement. You will also be working very closely with a System Engineer aligned with your accounts. Whilst Nutanix operates an indirect sales model, you will be expected to maintain direct customer contact and often lead engagements.
- Responsible for the software revenue goal set for your account list
- Ownership of pipeline strategy and goal
- Ownership of new logo target
- Own and develop channel & alliance partner strategy for the region
- Utilise Nutanix memberships with Tech UK, UCISA and Global Data to support prospecting activity.
- Develop and utilise references and case studies in your accounts
- Track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas.
- Demonstrable ability to work effectively with the channel
- Account management skills to develop cross and up-sell opportunities in existing customers.
- Highly customer-orientated
- Ability to segment accounts to optimise coverage
- Ability to secure net new meetings virtually and face to face.
· Minimum of 5 years' field sales experience
· Public Sector sales experience is preferred but not essential
