The Opportunity

Are you a highly knowledgeable and experienced sales professional in IT solution services, with a passion for cloud technologies and automation? If so, joining our Nutanix team as a Services Sales Manager will provide you with the opportunity to work with a world-class organization committed to customer satisfaction and industry-leading solutions, and it will allow you to apply your expertise in the Public Sector and Federal Government while participating in strategic meetings and interacting with field sales management.


About the Team

At Nutanix, you will have the opportunity to be part of the Services Sales Organization focusing on the Public Sector, Federal, and SLED markets. The team, based throughout the US, is dedicated to delivering top-notch solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction. Working closely with field sales management, you will engage in strategic initiatives and leverage your expertise in serving the Public Sector and Federal Government.

You will report to the Sr. Staff Services Sales Manager, who will support your development and provide guidance as you navigate the Services Sales Organization. The work setup is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different locations. While remote work is the primary setup, you may be required to travel up to 30% of the time to meet with clients or for organizational meetings.


Your Role

  • Position and sell service offerings
  • Prioritize strategic and transaction-based services
  • Support RFP responses and SOW development
  • Train and enable field sales team
  • Establish personal brand as a valued partner
  • Identify and utilize customer-owned pre-paid services
  • Drive technology transformations and digital solution adoption
  • Provide proactive advice on Nutanix platform and optimize operations

What You Will Bring

  • Knowledge of IT solution services and cloud technologies
  • Experience in sales of enterprise applications and solutions
  • Ability to work with C-level outcome makers
  • Understanding of the Public Sector and Federal Government
  • Strong knowledge of Hyperconverged Infrastructure
  • Expertise in cloud technologies and automation
  • Ability to prioritize strategic and transaction-based services
  • Proficiency in creating SOWs and managing PCRs

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 88,000 and USD $ 175,560 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
