The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated Sr. Tax Analyst for India regions who is interested in joining Nutanix tax team. This position will be based out of Nutanix Office in Bangalore, India. 
This is a key tax position supporting our India operations and is a great opportunity for a talented individual who has the desire to join a fast-growing company.
About the Team
At Nutanix, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment as part of the Tax Team. The team consists of 10 individuals spread across EMEA-APAC and the USA, working together to ensure compliance and provide support to internal stakeholders. The team culture is one of professionalism, teamwork, and a dedication to excellence in all tax-related matters.
You will report to the Sr. Manager, International Tax at Nutanix. As for the work setup, Nutanix offers a hybrid model where you would be required to work in the office for three day a week. This setup allows for a balance between in-person collaboration and remote work flexibility, ensuring that you can work comfortably and efficiently.
In terms of travel requirements, there is no significant travel expected for this role. You will primarily be based in the office or working remotely as needed to fulfill your responsibilities within the tax team at Nutanix.
Your Role
  • Assist in preparing of corporate income tax returns, tax audit reports and schedules (Form 3CD) and advance tax computations for India.
  • Help in coordinating tax audits. Support the team in responding to queries from tax authorities and assisting in tax assessments and appeals.
  • Assist in preparing transfer pricing reports, Form 3CEB and related filings.
  • Gather and organize data for intercompany transactions and perform preliminary transfer pricing analysis.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
  • Support in preparing documentation for audits, assessments, and inquiries related to transfer pricing.
  • Help in the preparation of tax schedules, reports, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the finance/accounting team to gather necessary financial data for tax filings and transfer pricing reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of deferred tax calculations for financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of schedules for APA (Advance Pricing Agreement).
  • Assist in the preparation of GST/STPI/Customs related compliance, schedules, and reconciliation.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in accounting /taxation
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Similar role 
Well versed with MS Office applications and Excel expertise, 
NetSuite and clear-tax knowledge not a must but an advantage
