Your role in the region: 
You are a strategic and creative individual with a passion for storytelling, and have a proven track record in building media relationships and executing public relations programs.  Reporting to the Global Director of Public Relations and partnering with senior leaders across the region, you will:
  • Develop strategic public relations plans that are the foundation from which all external communications efforts are executed, including content, media relations, interviews, industry / executive thought leadership, roundtables, events and crisis management
  • Use your creativity to create content and drive earned media coverage across daily, business and tech press, including online, print and broadcast
  • Include the voice of the customer and the business outcomes they have achieved using Nutanix’s solutions in all content
  • Monitor industry trends and conversations to identify opportunities and potential risks for the company, and use data to evaluate performance of the program
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists
  • Provide public relations counsel to executives and others across the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging and ensure consistency across all communication channels
  • Manage a network of PR agencies across across multiple countries, and a “hub” agency for the region

Education And Experience
  • Degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field required
  • 15 years of B2B technology communications experience
  • Experience communicating about software and cloud computing with strong writing skills.
  • Experience with AI, Kubernetes and other emerging technologies a plus
  • Provide leadership experience and ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels within global organizations.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker who possesses a positive team-player attitude capable of collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Open to candidates based out of Singapore, Australia and India to support the region 

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
