Email Marketing Program Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an email marketer to drive strategic alignment and consultancy services to global stakeholders on email best practice development and deployment. This individual is a motivated marketer who is eager to expand their marketing expertise in email, drive strong cross-functional collaboration with a data-driven approach, and prioritizing the customer experience. Partnering with corporate and field marketing this role will be key in building audience-centric communication that amplifies our campaign content and messaging to drive marketing qualified leads and increase lead funnel velocity.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide global consultancy of email promotion, lead journey, and database segmentation strategy.
  • Manage the global email intake, providing guidance to stakeholders, and prioritizing email programs at scale.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders through the program management system to execute email banner design, content creation, Marketo program builds, feedback, and approvals.
  • Drive optimization of email programs and lead database through performance analyses, data insights, and A/B testing.
  • Develop, implement, and evangelize the global email best practices lexicon.
  • Manage the global email deployment calendar for marketing visibility and to alert various teams when audience overlap, or inconsistent customer journey is present across mails.
  • Support the development of process improvement road maps for email campaigns.

Aptitudes and Skills

  • Collaboration and evangelism skills in advancing email campaign development and delivery methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of email anatomy and best practices as it relates to the development of engaging email copy, creative, and customer journey.
  • Proven ability to build, support and manage resources across multiple cross-functional teams to execute high impact marketing
  • Excellent communication, presentation, project management and critical thinking skills.
  • Basic knowledge of key email performance metrics and lead funnel methodologies.


  • 1- 3 years related experience in digital marketing. Experience using project management tools (ServiceNow, Trello, Wrike etc.).
  • Ability to communicate and present audience analyses and actionable optimizations to influence the overall health of the business.
  • Qualified applicants should possess the ability to independently develop ideas and strategies that lead to success and the growth of the business.
