The Opportunity
 
We are looking for a driven Enterprise Account Manager to join our team in Madrid and lead strategic growth across the Utilities, Energy, Manufacturing, Construction, and Retail sectors.
 
About the Team
 
As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will own the end-to-end sales cycle for Nutanix products and solutions, engaging directly with enterprise customers across your target industries. You’ll work closely with a Sales Engineer to identify, develop, and close high-value opportunities while expanding relationships within existing accounts.
We’re looking for a strategic hunter who thrives in complex sales environments, can navigate multi-stakeholder organizations, and develops long-term, trusted relationships with C-level executives. You’ll have access to best-in-class tools, resources, and cross-functional support from Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development to consistently exceed your targets. You will also work closely with senior leaders, including VPs and co-founders, influencing sales strategy and driving impactful initiatives.
Your Role
  • Build and grow relationships with key stakeholders across the Utilities, Energy, Manufacturing, Construction, and Retail industries to uncover new opportunities.
  • Penetrate new divisions, subsidiaries, and business units within strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Drive both direct selling opportunities and partner-led engagements.
  • Schedule and attend customer meetings with decision-makers to qualify and progress opportunities.
  • Apply a consultative sales approach to understand business challenges and deliver tailored solutions, proposals, and presentations.
  • Respond to RFPs and manage follow-up activities through to deal closure.
  • Develop and execute detailed account plans aligned with customer business objectives.
  • Strengthen long-term relationships with existing clients while identifying new prospects.
  • Partner with Marketing to design and execute targeted industry campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast information in CRM.
  • Facilitate training and enablement for accounts to drive solution adoption.
  • Leverage customer references to support business development.
  • Provide actionable product feedback to Engineering to enhance Nutanix offerings.
What You Will Bring
  • Proven track record of managing complex enterprise sales cycles, from prospecting to closing, ideally within the Utilities, Energy, Manufacturing, Construction, or Retail industries.
  • Strong relationship management, negotiation, and consultative selling skills at the C-suite level.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including presentation skills.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development.
  • Expertise in enterprise account management, target account selling, and solution selling.
  • Ability to understand and articulate how technology solutions address industry-specific challenges, with awareness of the competitive landscape.
  • Native or bilingual Spanish and fluent English.
Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
