The Presales Solution Architect team at Nutanix is dedicated to delivering innovative enterprise solutions that meet the diverse needs of our clients in that region. You will report to the Director of Portfolio Solutions, who is known for their approachable and empowering leadership style. This manager encourages team members to take initiative and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, where ideas are welcomed and innovation is celebrated. The role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work environment, with no specific in-office days required.
The position requires moderate travel, which may involve visiting clients or attending conferences and events to present solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This travel will ensure that you stay connected with our customers and stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
Your Role
- Collaborate with sales teams to design and propose tailored Kubernets solutions that meet customer needs.
- Engage with clients during presales discussions to understand requirements and demonstrate product capabilities.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process to ensure successful deal closures.
- Lead presentations and product demonstrations to showcase solutions effectively.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product management, and marketing teams.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by management.
- Gather customer feedback to inform product development and improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and train junior team members to build expertise within the team.
What You Will Bring
- Strong Kubernetes, cloud native, containerization expertise in a hybrid-cloud enterprise environment and a solution architect or engineer.
- Proven ability to engage with clients and understand their Kubernnest related enterprise needs.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for effective selling.
- Generate and deliver effective Proof-of-Concept (POC) presentations.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for effective selling.
- Experience with collaborative tools and remote working technologies.
- Ability to travel moderately as needed for client engagements.
- Strong analytical skills to assess client requirements and propose tailored solutions.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration to drive project success.
- Proficiency in industry-specific technologies and trends relevant to clients.
Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 196,000 and USD $ 294,000 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
