About the Team
At Nutanix, you will be joining the Fulfillment Operations Team, a dedicated group of 9 individuals, with our core team based in San Jose, CA and additional members in the USA and the Netherlands. You will report to the Sr. Director of Fulfillment Operations, who will guide and support your growth within the team. We follow a hybrid work model, where you will need to be in the San Jose office three days a week. This collaboration in the office fosters teamwork and creativity while allowing flexibility in your work life. Importantly, there will be no travel requirements for this position, enabling you to focus on your role and contribute to our Team's success without the added demands of travel.
Your Role
- Manage all order management activities for global operations. Activities include, but are
not limited to: Customer order management and system input, order inquiries, customer
expedite requests, follow-up shipment scheduling and processing, and customer
contact/reporting - Ensure Contract Manufacturer and preferred carrier receives order information via EDI
- Handle order change requests and manage daily visibility of order activity through NetSuite system
- Interface with customers, sales representatives, supply chain and other departments
regarding order issues, including but not limited to, order hold releases, product
configuration issues, item number discrepancies and missing valid purchase order
requirements - Respond to customer requests/queries in a timely fashion
- Assist in the ongoing documentation of the order process including analyzing problems
within the order entry processes, participating in the development of new processes or
techniques to resolve problems and prevent their reoccurrence, and contributing ideas
for process improvements through automation of current manual order entry processes. - Maintain high level of standards for Order Management metrics/KPIs
What You Will Bring
- Knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint),
Salesforce (SFDC), Outlook - 5+ years’ experience in high tech order management, materials management or
customer service - BA preferred
- Well-organized; able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic, fast paced
environment - Schedule flexibility required, especially at month/quarter end.
- High degree of comfort with data entry-related activities, including keyboard shortcuts,
dual screen validating, multi-window management. - Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 120,800 and USD $241,200 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
