The Role :
As the Distribution Manager, you'll be responsible for Distribution management, selection and development of distribution partners that are the best fit to connect the Nutanix supply chain to the Nutanix Go To Market.

- Engage closely with Distributor and Partners for following up on PO’s and any quote issues.
- Work with Distributors on Partner Recruitment, Onboarding and Enablement.
- Bi-weekly cadence calls with distributors on DR, pipeline creation, activities etc.
- Monthly and Quarterly review of distributors performance and activities.
- Drive pipeline generation activities with distributors.
- Review rebate programs proposed by distributors.
- Support ASEAN Channel Organization on overall Quote to Cash/Contract process within SFDC.
- Working knowledge of Quote process – Creation, Review & discounting follow-up with Deal desk team.
- Understanding of Deal Registrations coming from Partners and Distributors and their review including approval or denial.
- Engage closely with Distributor and Partners for following up on PO’s and any quote issues.
- Bi-weekly cadence calls with distributors on DR, pipeline creation, activities etc.
- Work with order management team to get the orders booked in timely manner and work with internal or external team to fasten the process.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with sales, internal and external teams including partners & distributors. Act as a liaison between all of these teams.
- Maintain SFDC hygiene and manage pipeline cleanup.
- Working knowledge of SFDC mainly Accounts, Opportunities, Quotes, Contacts, Leads, Deal Reg etc.
- Should possess basic knowledge of reporting and dashboard functionality in SFDC.
- Ability to execute quickly and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Align with Inside Sales Reps to drive effective demand generation campaigns.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing Team to expand market reach including the use of social media platforms.

- Min 5 years channel experience preferably within distributors.
- Prior experience on programs preferred.
- Sales experience on selling software preferred.
- Hands on experience with CRM application.
- Excellent working knowledge with MS office applications especially MS Excel.
- Strong customer service focus and written & verbal communication skills.
- Works well in a team environment and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to be responsible, flexible, accountable and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, adapt and prioritise to meet deadlines.
- Must be willing to work extended hours during end of quarters.
- Should be good with managing time and set right expectation with all customers (internal or external).
- Ability to take initiative, work flexibly, and adhere to priorities with minimal direct supervision.
- Prior experience with Salesforce is a must.
