We are looking for a talented Sales Training and Enablement Program Manager to focus on shaping the next generation of sales professionals.  This is an exciting and dynamic role which is crucial in maintaining a competitive edge, by building engaging and effective training to support Nutanix sellers in EMEA. 

The role requires energy, enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for learning. You will be responsible for creating a training strategy and plan for the teams you support.  This will include some in house development of training curricula and materials, as well as sourcing and managing vendors for any externally delivered training.  A key role is building strong relationships with the teams you support and managing stakeholder expectations and communications.  You will also be delivering training to our sales teams so experience, knowledge, confidence, and an engaging style is key.   Would suit a successful sales person, looking to transition to a role where they can share experiences, or someone from a sales enablement background with sales methodology knowledge. 

This role will require some travel, as restrictions ease, but day to day will be remote or office based

Responsibilities:

  • Development of a training strategy and plan for the teams you support (Western and Northern Europe) , and execution of this plan
  • Consult with, and own the relationships with the leadership teams you support
  • Deliver a quality onboarding experience for new hires in your region
  • Work with the enablement team to deliver some sessions on EMEA new hire program (training given)
  • Work across the wider WW sales enablement team to develop best quality sales programs
  • Implement measures to understand the impact of enablement activities, to create meaningful dashboards and reports on the progress of initiatives, with a focus on ROI.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Management, Solutions Marketing and other groups to source appropriate enablement content.
  • Design and implement training content, tools, and assessments for knowledge transfer and on-going development.
  • Deliver engaging sales training sessions, remotely and face to face. 
  • With the team – develop the ongoing curriculum and training paths for sales people at all stages of their career. 
  • Work with external vendors to develop web-based and instructor-led learning activities 

 

Experience and qualities 

  • At least 3-5 years of sales and/or sales training experience, ideally in an IT  or sales enablement environment. 
  • Ability to deliver and facilitate instructor-led sales training (on product, process, or skills related training topics), OR the potential to gain this skill 
  • Personality, confidence, and polish to engage at all levels - sales leaders, field sellers, and across business units with Marketing, Product Management, HR  and other groups within the company
  • Creative, curious nature – someone who continuously seeks to find new ways to engage our audience and share learnings.  
  • Ability to working autonomously and proactively and make the role your own (with the support of your team). 
  • Aptitude to influence and gain acceptance from others on initiatives
  • Strategic thinking, but grounded in the tactical execution of his or her vision. Someone who blends technical aptitude with business savvy and has demonstrated success managing complex projects from start to finish..
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of enterprise sales processes and sales practices within the technology industry
  • Intermediate skills in the use of MS PowerPoint, Excel, Canva, video editing SW or other learning platforms is idea, or a solid aptitude for learning new systems and tools
  • Dynamic and proven presentation and written communication skills are a must
  • Experience in sales methodologies and a quota-carrying sales background is highly desired.
  • Coaching skills or qualification is an advantage but not a requirement
