About the Team
The Senior Workday HRIS Analyst role is part of the People Technology team at Nutanix, located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This team is dedicated to enhancing the user experience and efficiency of HR systems, specifically focusing on Workday solutions. The mission of the People Technology team is to streamline HR processes through effective technology solutions that empower employees and enhance organizational performance.
You will report to the Manager of People Technology, who leads with a collaborative and supportive leadership style. The manager emphasizes open communication and teamwork, encouraging team members to share ideas and contribute to project success. The position is hybrid, requiring the new hire to work in the office for an unspecified number of days each week while allowing remote flexibility to accommodate various work arrangements.
This role does not require any travel, enabling the new hire to focus on supporting core HR functions and maintaining system integrity from the designated work location. The emphasis will be on delivering high-quality support and project outcomes from either the office or remote setting.
Your Role
- Support technology-related projects and inquiries within Workday, including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits & Absence, Talent & Performance, Time Tracking, and Security.
- Provide day-to-day support to users regarding technology-related inquiries and troubleshoot system-related issues.
- Serve as subject matter expert to business end-users, addressing user questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance.
- Manage and respond to tickets in the ServiceNow ticketing system to ensure timely resolution of bugs/fixes.
- Conduct EIB loads, while maintaining system integrity through audits and approval of data loads.
- Creating, modifying, and maintaining reports requests in Workday.
- Liaise with business end-users to translate business needs into requirements, Complete Gap Analysis and Impact Assessment and recommend appropriate solution, business rules, and business process workflows in the Workday tenant and supporting applications.
- Responsible for writing test scripts and staging data to ensure successful implementation of new projects and/or enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and fulfill system requirements for ongoing projects.
- Support and PM cyclical programs, such as compensation, performance, and open enrollment.
- Evaluate new features/functions for rollout to end-users and recommend solutions / mitigate business risk relative to these changes during Workday Releases.
- Identify and implement ideas for improving processes and methodologies, particularly where new features in the Workday can be used to improve current processes.
- Set and achieve key performance indicators for project completion and responsiveness to support tickets.
What You Will Bring
- 3 to 5 years of global implementation experience in Workday with in-depth SME knowledge in one or more of the following modules: Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits & Absence, Talent & Performance, Time Tracking, and Security
- Proficiency in EIB loads and data management processes
- Experience with Workday reporting and analytics
- Project management skills, including requirement gathering, sprint planning, and change management
- Able to troubleshoot system-related issues effectively
- Familiarity with using a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to interact with stakeholders
- Excellent organization skills, ability to prioritize effectively and work independently
