Junior Accounts Payable Specialist
- Manage the Accounts Payable process for international locations in the EMEA and APJ regions, including vendor setup, invoice processing, and payment preparation.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, GST, WHT) during the accounting/coding of invoices.
- Facilitate accurate and timely invoice processing and maintain reconciliation between Accounts Payable sub-ledger and General Ledger.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to address and resolve invoice-related issues promptly.
- Contribute to the standardization and improvement of Accounts Payable processes across regions.
- Support month-end close activities, including bank reconciliations and accruals, while driving alignment with corporate reporting requirements.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries effectively.
- Identify and implement process automation opportunities to enhance efficiency within the Accounts Payable function.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Master Data Management.
- Familiarity with General Accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with international Accounts Payable processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software (Net Suite & COUPA preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
