The Opportunity
Your Role
- Hub Operations & Execution: Support the Global Program Manager by managing the day-to-day resources, facilities, and scheduling for all Barcelona-based cohorts.
- Performance & People Management: You will hold formal responsibility for the hiring, performance reviews, career development, and promotion readiness of Associates.
- Regional Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for EMEA SE leadership to ensure the "landing zones" for graduating Associates are identified and that their skills meet regional market demands.
- Recruitment Leadership: Partner with Talent Acquisition to drive the regional interview and selection process, ensuring a high bar for technical aptitude and cultural fit.
- Technical Coaching Strategy: Oversee the "Player/Coach" model within the hub. You will ensure that technical training, whiteboarding sessions, and live demo practices are executed to a high standard.
- Feedback Loop & Program Improvement: Provide the Global Program Manager with data-driven insights and regional feedback to help iterate on the global curriculum and training materials.
- Escalation & Resolution: Act as the first point of escalation for any personnel or operational issues within the Barcelona hub, ensuring a professional and high-energy learning environment.
What You’ll Bring
- Management Experience: 2+ years of formal people management experience, with a focus on developing early-career or technical talent.
- Technical Credibility: 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Presales, Professional Services, etc.). You must be able to evaluate technical competency and provide high-level architectural guidance.
- Operational Excellence: Strong ability to manage complex schedules and resource allocations across multiple simultaneous workstreams.
- Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work effectively with a Global Program Manager and remote leadership teams.
- EMEA Context: Deep understanding of the EMEA tech ecosystem and the diverse cultural nuances of the EMEA sales theater.
- Coaching Heart: A genuine passion for watching others grow and a commitment to maintaining the "Hungry, Humble, Honest" culture.
