About the Team
The role of Senior Consultant is part of the Cloud Native Practice team at Nutanix, located in Bangalore. This dynamic team is dedicated to pioneering advancements in cloud-native technologies, specializing in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and DevSecOps. The culture within the team emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and thought leadership, driving the mission to empower enterprises in their digital transformation journeys through cutting-edge cloud solutions.
You will report to the Sr Manager of Professional Services, who is known for a leadership style that prioritizes empowerment, open communication, and mentorship. This approach fosters a supportive environment where team members are encouraged to share ideas and engage in continuous learning. The position is hybrid, requiring the hire to work in the office a few days a week while also allowing flexibility for remote work.
The role requires some travel to meet with clients and stakeholders, ensuring engagement and collaboration on various projects. The exact frequency of travel will depend on specific project needs and client engagement opportunities.
Your Role
  • Build, scale, and lead the Cloud Native practice globally, defining strategic direction and service offerings.
  • Architect, design, and deploy Nutanix Kubernetes Platform solutions for enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring delivery excellence.
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership in cloud-native technologies, including establishing best practices for DevOps workflows.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams, fostering a culture of excellence in cloud and automation consulting.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities and customer presentations to enhance client relationships and project acquisition.
  • Contribute to process optimization and adherence to security and compliance standards within service delivery.
  • Set and achieve first-year objectives for practice growth, client engagement, and technical thought leadership within the organization.
What You Will Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, or virtualization.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting).
  • Expertise in Nutanix technologies (AHV, AOS, Prism, Calm).
  • Experience with container platforms (Nutanix Kubernetes Platform, OpenShift, Tanzu).
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and storage concepts.
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) and monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Nutanix and Kubernetes certifications preferred (NCP, NCM, CKA/CKAD/CKS).
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
