Principal Product Manager- Service Provider

The Opportunity
Nutanix is looking for a Principal Product Manager with superior leadership, analytical, strategic, and mentorship skills to be part of our dynamic and growing team. The Service Provider business segment is a strategic go-to-market channel for Nutanix and you will own the strategy and execution of building our service provider focused products and solutions.

You will report to the VP of Product Management, who values transparency and empowering team members to reach their full potential. The work setup is hybrid, with the expectation that you will work in the San Jose headquarters three days a week, allowing for meaningful in-person collaboration while also supporting flexibility. Travel may be required as needed to engage with teams, partners, or customers, ensuring you remain connected and informed about the broader business landscape.
Your Role
- Help define and execute strategy and roadmap for Nutanix Service Provider Solutions
- Regular outreach and synthesis of MSP/customer feedback into prioritized requirements.
- Build and drive consensus/clarity across teams for product goals
- Write detailed market requirements and product requirement documents (PRDs)
- Responsible for complete product delivery — coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Track, manage, and report on KPIs. Presents at QBR and operations review
- Provide ongoing field/MSP ecosystem support to drive high customer satisfaction
- Author, build, and maintain compelling internal and external-facing collateral
What You Will Bring
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields. MBA is nice to have.
- Strong domain expertise in one or more areas in hybrid multi-cloud services
- Experience in SaaS product development for enterprise customers
- Experience of working with service providers/ global system integrators
- 8+ years of product management experience
- Demonstrated ability to innovate, build and launch successful products
- Independently lead a product line (a major area of a product offering)
- Attention to detail in executing complex projects with cross-functional dependencies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to present to C-level executives.
- Proven ability to influence geographically distributed teams and deliver on commitments
- Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- High energy and excellent teamwork skills
- Have a bias for action and demonstrate ownership
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 189,600 and USD $ 380,400 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
