Junior System Reliability Engineer (Technical Support)

The Opportunity
We are looking for an Associate / Early Career Systems Reliability Engineer to support our cloud solution in the field and provide our customers with an enriched and successful product experience leveraging our private cloud solution.
Product Support at Nutanix
We are top-notch engineers from leading virtualization, computing, and networking companies who can handle all problems that come our way. Working closely with Sales and Software Engineers, the support team is our customers' champion.

Your Role
- Collaborate with technology partners such as VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft to effectively resolve issues and implement enhancements in our ecosystem, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize troubleshooting skills to identify, debug, and diagnose customer issues that arise in the field, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing any disruption to their operations.
- Provide support to customers on weekdays and off hours as required, following a scheduled rotational basis, to address any urgent or critical needs they may have.
- Actively engage with our development engineering team to gather customer feedback and field implementation insights, driving necessary changes and improvements to our product offerings.
- Take charge of developing and contributing to internal and external knowledge bases, enhancing the serviceability of our product by testing new features and developing scalable tools for efficient field deployment and auto-support infrastructure. Additionally, conduct analysis of our existing customer base to proactively mitigate any risks and minimize potential issues in the field.
What You Will Bring
- You hold a BS in Engineering or CS or possess an equivalent technical degree.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You possess strong problem-solving skills.
- You excel in customer service and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
- You are fluent in English.
