About The Team

The Systems Engineering & Solution Sales organization, a team of  customer-focused technical sales professionals. In this consultative role, you will be viewed as an expert by Nutanix sales, customer success teams, business partners, and customers. Your core mission is to bridge the gap between complex business issues and innovative technology opportunities, acting as a trusted technical advisor.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Leadership & Cloud-Native Focus

Architect Modern Solutions: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more Nutanix products and specific vertical markets (e.g., BFSI, Public Sector Banks, Government).

Navigate the Digital Landscape: Maintain a strong, up-to-date understanding of digital native ecosystems, cloud-native technologies, major hyperscalers, Private cloud solutions.

Deep Domain Expertise: Leverage a thorough understanding of App Virtualization, Server Virtualization, Networking, Storage, Automation frameworks, Containerization, AI and Platform Performance/Sizing to design optimal architectures.

Understanding on Latest AI evolvement across industry and able to strike conversation AI discussion & use cases.

Master the Compete Landscape: Utilize your strong understanding of similar competitive solutions and industry knowledge to strategically position Nutanix, overcome customer objections, and build compelling business cases.

Drive Technical Wins: Partner seamlessly with sales counterparts to develop strategic account plans, customer persona coverage models, and tailored proposals.

 Accelerate Revenue: Engage actively with the sales team to technically close deals and help exceed revenue targets in the shortest, most professional manner.

Build Trusted Relationships: Navigate complex customer organizations to build long-term relationships with technical resources and technical leaders at all levels.

 Deliver High-Value Enablement: Create and deliver impactful technical product presentations and training sessions to both channel partners and customers, whether remotely or on-site.

Champion the Customer Voice: Serve as the critical feedback loop, communicating customer insights back into the Nutanix ecosystem to ensure they are heard.

What You Will Bring 

9 to 15 years in a customer-facing technical role, with 6 to 9 years of dedicated experience as a Presales Engineer.

Data Center & Cloud: Proven presales experience spanning data center and cloud technologies, with the agility to adapt quickly to new market demands and products.

Problem Solving & Execution: An analytical approach to complex problem solving, combined with the ability to manage multiple projects, determine urgency, and execute detailed action plans.

Collaboration & Mentorship: A team-player mindset with a proven track record in cross-functional collaboration, relationship management, and providing mentorship to peers and new hires.

Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English, designed to deliver clear customer value and situational analysis.

Character: The highest level of personal and professional ethics, integrity, and a continuous desire to learn, be challenged, and strive for excellence.

Education 

  • Bachelor's Degree required. 
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred. 

Success Measures 

  • Achievement of annual BFSI revenue and growth targets. 
  • Expansion of Nutanix footprint across strategic private BFSI accounts. 
  • Executive relationship development across key customers. 
  • Growth in market share within the BFSI segment. 
  • Partner ecosystem effectiveness and pipeline creation. 
  • Team performance, retention, and leadership development. 

Work Arrangement 

Hybrid work model with regular engagement across customer locations, Nutanix offices, and industry events. Extensive travel within India will be required to support strategic customer relationships and business growth initiatives.
