The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Manager to join Nutanix's SaaS Engineering Organization. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional experience across pre-sales, product releases, and support for our customers, partners, and internal teams through cutting-edge SaaS applications, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements related to hardware platform configurations, software releases, and associated documentation.

About the Team

At Nutanix, you will join the SaaS Engineering Product Management team. SaaS Engineering is the operating system for Nutanix driving world-class customer, partner and employee experiences through data-driven innovation. Within SaaS Engineering, you will be part of pre-sales experience team building products and tools for our SEs and Partners aligning with the company strategy and core initiatives.   

We are a hybrid first company. This position will be based in San Jose, CA, being onsite 3+ days a week. We work collaboratively across functions and geographies.

Your Role

• Engage with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into actionable tasks.
• Enable pre-sales, product release and support experience for the next generation of Nutanix HW platforms and SW products via SaaS applications.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management and technical publication teams to deliver a seamless product rollout.
• Define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and drive execution to meet business goals.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback sessions to inform product decisions.
• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clarity.
• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for optimization, scale and enhancement.

What You Will Bring

• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of total professional experience, including at least 5+ years in Product Management roles.
• Domain Knowledge:
• Basic understanding of infrastructure space, particularly storage and server systems..
• Proven experience working with scalable SaaS applications.
• Background: Strong experience in SaaS and infrastructure domains; exposure to engineering processes is highly valued. Should have experience working in agile frameworks and related tools. 
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering  is required; an MBA is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work across diverse teams.
• Strategic thinker with a strong ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Data-driven mindset with proficiency in leveraging analytics for decision-making.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
