Sr. Manager of Demand Management
Lead a team of forecasters and analysts, driving team performance and development. Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) initiatives. Provide thought leadership and an environment of continuous improvement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee the publication and evolution of demand forecasts on a monthly and weekly basis
Assist un developing an S&OP approach in managing the Nutanix business
Monitor potential Excess and At Risk Inventory levels and minimize the impact to the enterprise
Build strong relationships with key business partners ( Sales Operations, Product Management, Finance, Material Planning, Supply Base Management, and Operations) to enable cross functional alignment
Ensure that appropriate metrics are in place to drive necessary behaviors and results in line with the changing business environment
Manage multiple projects and priorities
Eight plus years experience in Supply Chain or Operations positions, five in a Planning leadership role
Analytically minded with experience working in a high configurability environment with complex forecasting methods
Experience in S&OP scenario planning and financial modeling within a data rich environment
Proven leadership skills with strong written and verbal communication skills
Self starter – Seeks the problem, doesn’t wait for the problem to find him/her
Ability to be strategic, but also willing to get into the details, coaching team members where needed
Technology industry a plus
Familiar with planning products and product lines that are characterized by high parts count, short life cycles, and short fulfillment Lead Times
Exposure to Demand Planning tools (Demantra, Logility, Anaplan, other) and analytics
Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations, Planning, Statistics or similar, Masters a plus
