About the Team
At Nutanix, you’ll be joining the Global IT Operations team, a dynamic and diverse group of approximately 30 talented individuals spread across the AMER, EMEA, APAC, and India. With a significant presence in San Jose and Bangalore, our team prides itself on its collaborative culture, tackling complex IT challenges together. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Global IT Operations. Our work setup requires you to be onsite for most of the week, with the potential for one day of remote work. In this role, you should expect about 10% travel, which may include occasional trips for special events or visits to satellite locations. We believe this balance allows for effective collaboration while also supporting personal flexibility.
Your Role
- Conduct regular health checks on office IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity for end users.
- Provide expert Audio Visual (AV) support for meetings and events, guaranteeing a seamless experience for participants.
- Assist in daily office setups, configuring hardware like laptops, monitors, printers, and networking equipment for efficient workspace operations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to proactively resolve issues and improve service delivery across departments.
- Develop a deep knowledge of Nutanix tools and systems within the first year to enhance user support and system efficiency.
- Establish and maintain strong communication channels with internal stakeholders to understand and address their IT needs effectively.
- Document processes and solutions to contribute to the team's knowledge base and improve operational workflows.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to stay updated with emerging trends and technologies.
What You Will Bring
- 2-3 years of experience in IT site services or a related role.
- Proficient in supporting Apple macOS and Lenovo WInOS hardware and software.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based management tools (e.g., MS Intune, Jamf).
- Support a broad portfolio of IT-supported applications, including Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, OKTA and more
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Capable of troubleshooting technical issues in audio-visual (AV) setups.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL) are a plus.
Work Arrangement
On Site: This role is based on-site, offering the opportunity to collaborate face-to-face with team members in a dynamic and engaging work environment. Being physically present allows for seamless teamwork and direct access to resources that support your success. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 84,000 and USD $ 142,800 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
