The Nutanix Channel Sales Engineer (SE) is a technical field position that serves as the resource for the Technical Partner Community.  As the Channel SE, it is expected that you will enable partners to perform all of the functions that a Nutanix Systems Engineer does, including running Proof of Concepts. In this role, you will report directly to the Channel SE Manager.
 
The Role:
Be a vital part of the Channel SE team, helping Nutanix partners succeed with Nutanix portfolio and solutions. Build long-term relationships and establish yourself as a trusted resource to channel partners. Collaborate to identify prospective customers, assess product capability, and support technical sales. Deliver technical product presentations and training to partners and customers. Work with marketing and events to create partner-facing go-to-market documents. Partner with the Regional SE Manager and field team for pre- and post-sales alignment. Coordinate with channel sales and marketing for demand generation campaigns. Participate in technical events like conferences and meet-ups. Invest in understanding new technologies to help partners adapt and integrate solutions. Learn new skills and contribute to team and partner growth. Act as a technical evangelist for our products within channel partners.
 
About you:
  • You have over three years of Sales Engineering or Reseller experience in a high-tech sales environment, with a proven success record in increasing customer adoption of technology.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree or possess equivalent experience.
  • Your knowledge of virtualization and storage markets, along with design skills, is solid.
  • You have experience selling servers, storage hardware, enterprise software, or networking.
  • Collaboration with one or more Channel Sales Managers is essential to understand channel partner objectives and develop the technical enablement plan for the partner and region.
  • You excel at motivating, training, and leading seminars with partners to help them surpass revenue goals. Maintaining relationships with technical resources at all levels within partner organisations is part of your expertise.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills.
  • Your 'whatever it takes’ attitude and motivation drive you to do everything needed to achieve revenue targets.

  • Infrastructure and platform observability
  • Storage platforms – block, file, object
